Silica Training

This is a training for supervisors and competent persons. It is a focused class on the new requirements and how to establish and implement a written exposure plan. A certificate of training will be issued.
Learn to:

• Establish and implement a written control plan
• Designate a competent person to implement the written exposure plan
• Restrict housekeeping practices that expose workers to silica dust.
• Train workers on the types of operations that result in silica exposure and limit exposure
• Introduction and applications of "Table 1" for Construction Exposure Control Methods
• Keep records of workers' silica exposure and medical exams
