November 2024 First Aid/CPR/AED Certification

Every employer has a legal obligation to establish an effective Injury and Illness Prevention Program to promote health and safety in the workplace. Complying with safe and healthful work practices includes first aid kits easily accessible to each work area, and training of at least one employee on each shift.  The certification cards are good for 2 years.

Participants learn to prevent, prepare and respond to workplace emergencies. This course covers first aid basics:

• Controlling bleeding
• Using a tourniquet
• Treating for shock, burns & electrical injuries
• Treating allergic reactions & breathing
• And Other Medical Emergencies
